I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR and am dedicated to continuously expanding my knowledge of dog behavior to provide the highest level of care. I believe a happy dog is an exercised and socialized dog. Over the years, I've enjoyed discovering Medicine Hat's extensive network of pathways, trails, and parks, which provide the perfect environment for dogs. I strive to ensure every pet I work with gets the attention, exercise, and training they need to thrive!
My Story
Welcome! I'm thrilled to share my passion for dogs and cats, rooted in over 30 years of hands-on experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. My journey began as a volunteer at a local animal hospital after high school, which grew into a rewarding 10 year career as a veterinary assistant. I was able to learn and assist in all aspects of animal hospitals, including assisting veterinarians with surgical preparation, medication administration and in dog and cat dentistry. Along the way, I expanded my experience by working in grooming salons and kennels, gaining invaluable knowledge about animal care and behavior.
For the past 20 years, I've been a dedicated professional dog walker. Working in all sorts of weather, I have provided personalized care to a diverse range of pets as well as therapy, service and assistance dogs. I also specialize in cat care with particular focus in addressing the unique needs of elderly kitties.
My years of experience have given me a keen eye for noticing subtle changes in behavior or physical condition, ensuring your furry friends are always in capable and loving hands.
